📖 Konu

Alvin ve Lance 1988 yılınız yaz mevsimini, harap olmuş ve çölleşmiş bir ormanda geçirmektedir. Ormanı bu hale getiren felaket ise meydana gelen bir yangındır. Bu yangın ormanın yanıbaşındaki otoban şeritlerini de tahribata uğratır. Alvin ve Lance'in olağan monotonlukta süregiden işleri ise bu şeritleri yeniden çizmektir. Parti ortamlarından ve kadınlardan uzaklaşmak durumunda kalan Lance, Alvin'in aksine bu izole edilmiş atmosferde yaşamanın sıkıntısını fazlasıyla hissetmektedir. Ormanların derinliklerine yaptıkları bir yolculuk talihsiz olaylara sahne olacaktır.
Berlin Film Festivali'nde En İyi Yönetmen ödülüne layık görülen filmin yönetmenliğini 2000 yılında çektiği George Washington adlı belgeselle dikkat çeken David Gordon Green üstleniyor...
