📖 Konu

Uçmayı hiç öğrenememiş evcimen bir papağan olan Mavili, sahibi ve en yakın arkadaşı olan Linda ile Minnesota'nın Moose Lake şehrinde konforlu bir hayat sürmektedir. O güne dek Mavili'nin Makav kuş türünün son örneği olduğunu düşünen ikili, Rio de Janeiro'da Harika adlı bir dişi makavın yaşadığını öğrenince çok uzaktaki bu egzotik diyara doğru yolculuğa çıkar. Rio'ya varmalarından kısa bir süre sonra beceriksiz birkaç hayvan taciri tarafından kaçırılan Mavili ve Harika, tacirlerin elinden bir grup Riolu kuş tarafından kurtarılır.
