📖 Konu

Stanton ‘Stan’ Carlisle, kasaba kasaba dolaşan bir karnavalın ekibine katılmıştır. Amacı ise Matmazel Zeena'nın ve alkolik kocası Pete'in "zihin okuma" numaralarının sırrını çözmektir. Ancak bu konuda bir türlü başarılı olamamıştır. Ancak Pete öldüğünde, Zeena Stan'i ortağı olarak kabul etmeye zorlanır. Kısa sürede Stan, insanları manipüle edip dolandırma işinde Zeena'nın rahmetli eşinden çok daha yetenekli olduğunu kanıtlar.
